Braden Peters, known by his online alias “Clavicular,” is embroiled in legal issues following grave allegations by a 17-year-old girl. The social media influencer, recognized for his participation in “looksmaxxing,” a digital culture centered on enhancing male appearance, faces three charges. These include rape, providing alcohol to a minor, and drugging for sexual intercourse, linked to an incident from May 2025.
This case, which emerged in Orleans District Court in September, stems from an alleged event at Peters’ home in Chatham, Massachusetts. The accuser claims Peters coerced her into concealing her age and drinking alcohol, which she mistakenly portrayed as water during a livestream. Court documents reveal that following the livestream, the teenager alleges they engaged in non-consensual intercourse. Despite this, a forensic examination for sexual assault was not conducted.
Prior allegations exist, as the accuser had filed a civil lawsuit in Florida, claiming battery, fraud, emotional distress, and unauthorized use of likeness. She also cited an alleged incident involving an unauthorized cosmetic injection. Her legal representative, Andrew Moss, confirms this same individual is the focus in Massachusetts.
Peters’ representative, Mitchell Jackson, challenges these claims and the procedure by which they were handled. Jackson dismissed the progression of lawsuits, emphasizing a change in claimed allegations and suggesting intentions driven by financial motives.
Peters’ legal troubles are not isolated to this case. In recent months, Florida authorities sought his arrest for allegedly spurring a fight between women, which was filmed and shared online. Although he was arrested, charges were later dropped. Additionally, in April, Peters faced charges for firing a gun at a dead alligator, captured in footage and shared widely online.
Publicly, Peters has criticized the plaintiff through social media outlets, questioning the motives behind the lawsuit. His arraignment in Massachusetts is set for mid-October.
