A breach occurred at a New Hampshire airport when a teenager crashed through a perimeter fence, hitting a parked plane and a nearby tractor. This incident took place Saturday night at Portsmouth International Airport, as reported by New Hampshire State Police (NHSP).
The suspect, Wyatt Seely, 17, from Rochester, was found intoxicated after the crash. Police were on the lookout for a vehicle connected to reported local crimes. A trooper attempted to stop a 2008 Ford Mustang on Durham Street, Portsmouth. The driver fled, leading to the airport breach.
The Mustang, without headlights, broke through the airport fence and moved across the aircraft parking area. It hit a Kubota tractor and a stationary plane. The vehicle eventually came to a stop.
Seely was detained by police and taken to a hospital for evaluation. No other injuries were reported. The teenager faces multiple charges, including driving while intoxicated (DWI), aggravated DWI, disobeying a police officer, conduct following an accident, and reckless driving.
Seely is scheduled to appear in Portsmouth District Court in September 2026. Local police and emergency services provided assistance during the incident. Authorities have reached out to Portsmouth International Airport for further details.
