KJ Biermann, 15, faces charges of child molestation and sexual battery against a child under 16, according to documents obtained. A grand jury in Fulton County, Georgia, indicted Kroy Jagger Biermann on seven counts, including aggravated sodomy and false imprisonment.
Last month, Biermann, son of Kim Zolciak from ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ was arrested. Initial charges included two felonies related to an April incident.
Details of Charges
He faced aggravated sexual battery and aggravated sodomy charges on August 17 following his arrest in Alpharetta, Georgia. Under Georgia’s SB440 law, he’s being charged as an adult, as it gives adult courts jurisdiction over teenagers aged 13 to 17 accused of violent felonies.
Custody Details
Biermann is held without bond at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center. A preliminary hearing is set for September.
Zolciak’s Response
Kim Zolciak denied the allegations against her son. She stated, “The allegations are reckless and troubling. He denies any involvement with the woman or alleged conduct.” Zolciak highlighted that her son passed a polygraph test and no DNA evidence linked him to the alleged victim. She noted similar allegations by the accuser against two other individuals.
Zolciak cautioned against false accusations, emphasizing the consequences for the accused and genuine survivors of sexual assault. “Each legitimate allegation should be investigated based on facts and evidence,” she said.
Zolciak and Biermann requested patience as the proper legal process unfolds, discouraging the spread of unproven allegations.
Background Information
KJ is the oldest son of Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak. The couple also has children Kash, Kaia, and Kane. Biermann had adopted Zolciak’s daughters, Ariana and Brielle, from a previous relationship. The couple filed for divorce in 2023 after 11 years of marriage.
