Justin Bieber’s career began with uploading song covers to YouTube. Today, he earns millions per performance, has sold over 150 million records globally, and has released popular hits like “Baby,” “Sorry,” and “Lonely.” His personal life includes marriage to model Hailey Baldwin and owning a clothing line called Drew House.
Bieber was born on March 1, 1994, in Canada to Jeremy Bieber and Pattie Mallette. His YouTube journey started in 2007, leading to discovery by Scooter Braun, who became his manager in 2008. Bieber debuted with albums “My World” and “My World 2.0” in 2009 and 2010, featuring songs “One Time,” “One Less Lonely Girl” and “Baby.” The albums became major successes.
His next project was the Christmas album “Under the Mistletoe.” In 2011, Bieber released a film “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never,” bringing in $12.4 million on opening day. His second film “Justin Bieber’s Believe” followed in 2013 after the “Believe” album release in 2012. The third film “Justin Bieber: Our World” launched in 2021.
In 2015, Bieber won his first Grammy for “Where Are Ü Now” and set a Guinness world record as the youngest male artist to debut atop the Billboard 100 chart. Post “Believe,” he released “Journals” in 2013, “Purpose” in 2015, “Changes” in 2020, and “Justice” in 2021. Collaborations with artists like Post Malone, Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne, and DJ Khaled further expanded his musical repertoire.
Apart from music, Bieber introduced fragrances and founded Drew House in 2018 with Ryan Good. Named after Bieber’s middle name, Drew House features vivid colors, oversized clothing, and smiley faces, despite minimal advertising. Clothing sells out frequently.
Bieber tours extensively to support his albums. However, his 2022-23 “Justice World Tour” was paused due to health concerns. He disclosed having Ramsay Hunt syndrome, affecting his ear and facial nerves. This caused partial facial paralysis, which he shared on Instagram.
Privately married to Hailey Baldwin in 2018, Bieber celebrated with a larger ceremony later. Baldwin first met Bieber backstage at a concert at age 12. They dated starting in 2016, briefly separated, and Bieber reconnected with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. Following their breakup in early 2018, Bieber and Baldwin reunited, leading to their engagement.
