President Donald Trump has unveiled plans for a new pedestrian bridge in Washington, D.C. This proposed structure aims to connect the National Mall with the Potomac River.

During a meeting in the Oval Office, Trump, alongside Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, shared that the bridge would complement the Lincoln Memorial. This walkway is designed to carry pedestrians over two high-traffic roadways.

This development is part of Trump’s broader initiative to transform key areas of Washington. A recent project under this initiative includes renovations to the Lincoln Memorial’s Reflecting Pool.
