Ukrainian Refugees Open Jellyfish Museum in Kyiv
Alex and Yana Yanovsky, who fled Ukraine during the recent conflict, have inaugurated the Jellyfish Museum in Kyiv. The couple has extensive experience in the aquarium industry, spanning over two decades in Ukraine. Their fascination with jellyfish emerged from observing visitor behavior in their past aquarium projects.
The newly opened facility showcases 21 tanks, housing over 20 different species of jellyfish. The Yanovskys discovered that jellyfish garnered more attention than other sea creatures in their previous aquariums. This insight led them to create a museum specifically focused on these ethereal aquatic animals.
The museum provides a unique opportunity for visitors to explore the diverse world of jellyfish, observing the many forms and colors of these captivating creatures. As jellyfish often intrigue due to their unusual shapes and movements, the museum is expected to be a popular attraction in Kyiv.
