Multiple Fatalities in Twin Falls Shooting

A tragic incident occurred at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho, resulting in multiple fatalities, according to police. Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks described the scene as ‘very chaotic’ during a news conference.

Authorities are diligently working to notify the next of kin before disclosing the exact number of those deceased. Among the fatalities is the suspected gunman. Several individuals suffered injuries and are receiving treatment at a local hospital.

‘What I can tell you at this time is that we’ve had a shooting at the In-N-Out location that has resulted in fatalities,’ Hicks stated, emphasizing the ongoing process of notifying families.

The suspected shooter’s identity has not been released, and a motive is yet to be determined. Chief Hicks reassured the community by stating the threat is over since the suspected shooter is deceased. Efforts are ongoing to confirm his identity and understand his motivations.

Officers responded to the active shooter incident around 2:30 p.m. The Twin Falls Police Department issued a statement urging residents and visitors to steer clear of the area to allow first responders to operate safely.

In response to the incident, Idaho Governor Brad Little asked residents to keep the community in their thoughts. He encouraged obedience to law enforcement instructions to ensure safety.

Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador also expressed his concern, extending thoughts and prayers to those affected. He urged local residents to cooperate with authorities and maintain distance from the affected area.
