Ohio Man Arrested After Dramatic Interstate Incident

An Ohio man faced charges after a dramatic incident involving a woman’s car on the interstate. The chaos began when Miami Township police stopped two men, accused of shoplifting at Kroger, on July 27.

The suspects were pulled over, prompting one man, Kaamil O’Berry, to flee. According to WKRC, O’Berry sprinted from the vehicle, heading toward I-75.

As he ran, O’Berry moved across an on-ramp and a grassy area beside the highway. In a bold move, he jumped onto the hood of a moving vehicle driven by a woman, continuing to flee from authorities.

O’Berry clung to the car’s hood as the vehicle traveled down the interstate. He allegedly attempted to commandeer the car, breaking the windshield during the commotion. The dramatic scene was captured by Ohio DOT cameras.

Eventually, O’Berry fell from the car and was promptly apprehended, leading to transport to a nearby hospital. He faces multiple charges, including obstructing official business, theft, and aggravated robbery.
