Big Cass marked his comeback to WWE’s ‘Monday Night Raw’ with an impactful appearance. His return had been anticipated for weeks, and he made his presence felt by confronting Je’Von Evans after Evans secured a victory against Ethan Page.
Big Cass, facing Je’Von Evans at Casey’s Center in Des Moines, Iowa, on August 3, 2026, opened up about his journey back to the WWE scene after an eight-year absence. In a backstage interview with Jackie Redmond, Cass stated, “Eight years. I was left for dead in the dirt. Eight years it took me to get back here from rock bottom. Je’Von Evans – nothing personal, bro. You were just in the way. Make no mistake about it. I am here to stack bodies. You were just the first. You surely won’t be the last.”
Big Cass wasn’t alone in his return to the ring on Monday night.
Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer were also among those making comebacks. After Roxanne Perez faced off against Sol Ruca, Liv Morgan was caught attempting to interfere, resulting in Perez’s disqualification. As The Judgment Day attacked Ruca, Lynch entered the fray.
Lynch announced her intention to challenge Morgan for the Women’s World Championship, following Morgan’s successful defense against Iyo Sky at SummerSlam. As The Judgment Day departed, Vaquer entered the ring.
Vaquer pursued Morgan, gaining some retribution on the champion. In her pursuit, Vaquer also confronted Rodriguez and Perez, forcing them to retreat. In the ring, Lynch and Vaquer had a tense face-off, signaling the emergence of two contenders for Morgan’s title.
