In Suffern, New York, New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart introduced President Donald Trump before his speech. Dart, 23, initiated the introduction with enthusiasm, rallying the crowd with a chant.
“Big Blue Nation, it’s a pleasure to be here,” Dart began. “I got to start this off with a ‘Go Big Blue,’” he exclaimed, leading the chant and then introducing Trump.
Trump then took to the stage, shaking hands with Dart before the young player exited. Dart expressed honor in introducing Trump as the 45th and 47th President of the United States.
Teammate Abdul Carter reacted by reposting the video on social media, showing frustration with the event. “Thought this was AI, what we doing man,” he posted.
Dart and Carter were both first-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dart was picked 25th after a trade, while Carter was the No. 3 overall pick from Penn State. Both athletes are expected to be integral to the team’s future, having shown potential in their rookie seasons.
Carter, 22, played all 17 games, accumulating 43 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and four sacks, improving especially towards season’s end despite some attendance issues leading to discipline.
