After the Fever’s 106-92 victory, Clark addressed the boos in the postgame press conference and voiced her disapproval, standing by her coach. “I hated that our fans booed her before the game,” Clark stated. “We’re going to ride for her, and we’re always going to have her back.” The incident highlighted the strong locker room unity despite external pressures.

White had earlier explained her immediate inability to see replays of Cunningham’s foul, where she received a bloody mouth from Carrington’s actions. “Was it egregious? Absolutely,” White remarked, acknowledging her reaction upon seeing the replay multiple times.
