Wladimir Klitschko Honors Hayden Panettiere After Her Sudden Passing

Wladimir Klitschko has paid tribute to his former fiancée, Hayden Panettiere, following her sudden death on Sunday. He expressed that his family is experiencing ‘profound shock and grief.’ He shared, ‘She left this world far too soon. Hayden was, although no longer my partner, an important part of my life and the mother of our daughter, Kaya,’ on Instagram.

Klitschko acknowledged her contribution to the entertainment industry, stating, ‘She built an incredible career through immense talent, while also facing the darker sides of a very demanding industry. Nothing will erase the times we shared or the place she had in our lives.’

He further mentioned his intentions regarding their daughter, Kaya, saying, ‘To our daughter Kaya, I will always speak of her mother with respect and make sure she remembers the person she was.’

Panettiere, aged 36, passed away on Sunday in Greenville, South Carolina. Law enforcement reported that officers and emergency medical services responded to a call about an unresponsive woman around 1:50 p.m. Panettiere was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Monday, the Greenville County Coroner’s Office released an initial report to Newsweek. It confirmed a 911 call at 1:51 p.m. for a cardiac arrest at 701 Easley Bridge Road. EMS attempted advanced cardiac life support, but resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful. Panettiere was declared deceased at 2:32 p.m.
