Dr. Sally Satel, a psychiatrist and addiction specialist, spoke on ‘Fox & Friends Weekend’ about reports that Narcan might have been administered before Hayden Panettiere’s death. She also commented on the Lindsay Clancy trial in Massachusetts, where the defense claims postpartum psychosis influenced the tragic killings.
Hayden Panettiere’s boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, was involved in a bar altercation just weeks after her sudden death. On the night of September 12, officers responded to an assault at Wild Wing Café in South Carolina, as per a statement from the Greenville Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers located several individuals involved in an altercation and detained multiple patrons while the incident was investigated, police reported.
Hickerson and his brother, Zachary, were among those involved. Zachary, reportedly intoxicated, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge. Video clips show Hickerson, handcuffed and bloodied, referencing Panettiere’s death in comments about the Greenville Police. He was seen tossing a bar stool before being escorted out but was not charged.
Hayden Panettiere passed away on August 16. Her relationship with Hickerson was intermittent, and he, along with his brother, called 911 upon finding her unresponsive. Hickerson provided authorities with her medication, as noted in the police report.
Zach was reportedly emotional during attempts to revive Panettiere, while Hickerson showed visible distress only after the confirmation of her passing. Hickerson had traveled with her from Los Angeles the day before her death. They had rekindled their relationship earlier in the year.
Preliminary autopsy results indicated no trauma contributing to Panettiere’s death, though investigations continue. The DEA has been contacted for further assistance. Her mother, Lesley Vogel, shared insights into Panettiere’s recent months on ‘Good Morning America,’ expressing the family’s grief.
The family and representatives have criticized the speculation and urge any meaningful information to be reported to the authorities rather than shared publicly. They maintain that more details are yet to emerge and are cooperating with the investigation to uncover the truth.
