Four Illegal Immigrants Arrested in Indiana Sting
Four out of 11 alleged sex offenders arrested in a police sting operation in Indiana are illegal immigrants, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). These individuals came from four different countries. The men were led to believe that they were communicating online with underage girls, ultimately driving to meet them for sexual encounters. However, when they arrived, undercover detectives greeted them instead.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has filed detainer requests for the four suspects. The individuals arrested include:
- El Hadji Babacar Ndiaye: A Senegalese citizen previously released at the southern border in Arizona in September 2023.
- Lucky Philip Udoudo: A Nigerian citizen who entered the U.S. without detection.
- Filomeno Ricardo Flores Marin: A Mexican citizen who entered the U.S. illegally in Arizona in 2002.
- David Josue Gomez-Posada: A Salvadoran citizen who illegally entered the U.S. in 2017 as a juvenile.
DHS urged Indiana to honor the immigration detainers. A DHS spokesperson stated, “We are calling on Indiana to honor our detainers. All of their claims will be heard by an immigration judge, and they will receive due process. This administration will not ignore the rule of law.”
Filomeno Ricardo Flores Marin faces charges of sex offenses, molestation of a minor, and enticement of a minor for indecent purposes. His past includes a 2019 arrest by ICE during a Drug Enforcement Administration operation in Indianapolis. Lucky Philip Udoudo is charged with child solicitation and sexual misconduct with a minor. David Josue Gomez-Posada and El Hadji Babacar Ndiaye face charges of child solicitation.
Under the administration of President Trump and Secretary Mullin, DHS emphasizes accountability for those who break the law. A DHS spokesperson remarked that “criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the U.S.” Additionally, DHS highlighted the importance of cooperating with ICE, noting that seven of the top 10 safest U.S. cities work with ICE. This collaboration is essential for combating crime and arresting illegal immigrants.
In Florida, ICE made 40,000 arrests, and a two-week operation in West Virginia led to 650 illegal immigrants being apprehended.
