Independent Wrestling Returns to Spotswood with Titan Championship Wrestling

Independent professional wrestling offers a unique opportunity for fans to enjoy live sports events. Fans have the chance to meet emerging stars, experience an entertaining show, and not spend a fortune on tickets. Many promotions aim to keep the shows family-friendly, ensuring that attendees leave with a smile.

Titan Championship Wrestling, a promotion based in New Jersey, successfully employs this approach. On Saturday, they return to Spotswood, New Jersey. This central New Jersey town has not hosted a wrestling event in almost 11 years. The company plans to host “Resurrection,” featuring some prominent figures in the independent wrestling scene.

“This is a great experience for the people of Spotswood or any kind of professional wrestling fan in the area,” co-promoter Charles DeLutri stated in an interview. “Wrestling has not been in that area for almost 11 years, and we’re happy to bring you not only an unbelievable event but a portion of what we do here at Titan Championship Wrestling.”

DeLutri emphasizes that the event will offer a fully rounded family experience. It combines various entertainment styles like comedy, strong style, and pure entertainment to cater to diverse audiences.

Notable wrestlers set to appear include former WWE superstar Jay Tha Gawd (formerly JTG), Joey Janela, and Michael Fain. DeLutri has collaborated with Janela on numerous occasions. Jay Tha Gawd is gaining traction on the indie circuit, attending several local events recently. Michael Fain, the Titan Championship Wrestling heavyweight champion, also promises to be a highlight.

“Michael Fain has to be one of the biggest up-and-comers out there,” DeLutri noted. “He’s been with us since the early days of Titan Championship Wrestling. The title he carries has evolved into a faction called the TBA, and he has claimed the title ‘king of the titans’ quite fittingly.”

The “Resurrection” event will take place on October 17, 2026, at the Spotswood Columbian Club. The event will commence at 7 p.m. ET.
