Fists were flying at Lumen Field in Seattle when a significant altercation occurred between a Patriots fan and several Seahawks fans. The fight erupted over seating disputes, with the Patriots fan reportedly occupying seats incorrectly.
Eyewitness reports indicate that the confrontation was not related to racial tensions. Instead, it began when the Patriots fan attempted to sit in another person’s assigned seats. I was right there, it wasn’t about race,
a Seattle supporter, known as Hawkaholic12, commented on X. The Pats fan and his girlfriend occupied seats belonging to someone else. The rightful seat owner asked them to leave, but the Patriots fan became aggressive and even made physical contact with a senior citizen.
Another eyewitness, JoeGurt, shared similar insights on X. He stated that the incident started when the Patriots fan sat in unoccupied seats in section 314, which were not his. Although stadium ushers asked him to relocate, he refused and subsequently collided with a staff member. A Seahawks fan attempted to remove him from the section, leading to a brawl involving multiple individuals. Police eventually escorted the Patriots fan from the venue.
Amidst the chaos, a loud girlfriend or wife often asserts responsibility on her partner’s behalf. In this event, the girlfriend or wife alleged that a Seahawks fan used a racial slur. She was visibly active in the confrontation as her partner faced off against numerous Seattle fans.
Interestingly, many observers noted that Seahawks fans may not be experienced in physical altercations, as evidenced by poor technique in throwing punches. Joe Kinsey, Senior Director of Content at OutKick, has commented on this aspect.
