On Monday, Anthropic revealed it had ‘confidentially submitted’ a draft registration statement, or Form S-1, to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as part of its IPO preparations.

Currently, Anthropic boasts a staggering valuation of nearly $1 trillion, following its latest fundraising round. This positions it ahead of OpenAI, which was valued at $852 billion as of March. The announcement arrives amidst a period of intense interest and concern regarding AI technologies.
