Brock Purdy’s Outstanding Start to the 2026 NFL Season

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has delivered an impressive performance at the beginning of the 2026 NFL regular season.

Purdy has been instrumental in leading the 49ers to a strong 3-0 start. He successfully completed 72.3% of his passes, amassing 789 yards along with nine touchdowns, topping the league in this category with only one interception. Additionally, he contributed 93 rushing yards and scored once on the ground.

During the Week 3 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, Purdy excelled by throwing for 297 yards and securing four touchdowns.

In recognition of his exceptional performance, the NFL acknowledged Purdy by awarding him the NFC Offensive Player of the Month on Thursday.

The 49ers responded to this achievement with a celebratory note, “Hit the Dougie one time,” highlighting the enthusiasm surrounding Purdy’s success.

Purdy’s achievements have positioned the 49ers in the top spot of the NFC West, ahead of the 2-1 Seattle Seahawks, 1-2 Los Angeles Rams, and 1-2 Arizona Cardinals.

Linebacker Fred Warner praised Purdy after the Week 3 win, stating, “Brock is amazing. The offense is humming right now. It’s our job as a defense to make sure that we handle our business.”

The 49ers, led by Purdy, aim to maintain their winning streak in the Week 4 battle against the Denver Broncos.
