After the game, Clark expressed relief, saying she hoped for this outcome since the foul “wasn’t intentional.”

The incident occurred during the Fever’s game against the Chicago Sky. Clark bumped into a referee and received a technical foul in the third quarter. Despite the drama, the Fever secured a 90-86 victory over the Sky, a significant road win.

Clark stated: “It wasn’t intentional.”

Adding to the day’s achievements, Clark made WNBA history alongside her teammate Kelsey Mitchell. Clark finished the game with 26 points, 4 rebounds, 11 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. Mitchell recorded 27 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block.

According to the WNBA, Clark and Mitchell tied the record for the second-most 25-point games by a duo in league history. This game marked the eighth time they achieved at least 25 points each in one game. Additionally, they have combined for 516 points in their last 10 games. This is the highest point total ever recorded by any duo in a 10-game span.
