Caitlin Clark’s Efficient Performance Secures Indiana Fever’s Victory

Caitlin Clark delivered an impressive performance on Sunday night, helping the Indiana Fever secure a win over the Seattle Storm. Clark scored 21 points with a shooting accuracy of 5-out-of-10. She made all nine of her free-throw attempts and two 3-pointers. This game marked the first time since September 19, 2024, that she attempted 10 or fewer field-goal shots, having previously achieved similar stats against the Washington Mystics.

Clark reflected on her efficiency during the game, realizing that contributing to the team’s success did not require a high number of attempts. She achieved 10 assists, a feat she last attained on July 13, 2025, against the Dallas Wings, before an injury sidelined her for most of the season.

Although Clark led in scoring, Kelsey Mitchell added 17 points over 28 minutes, while Sophie Cunningham contributed 17 points and three rebounds off the bench. The team managed without Aliyah Boston, who was absent due to a lower-leg injury.

The Fever will next face the Portland Fire at home on Tuesday night.
