California’s 14th Congressional District Special Election

Aisha Wahab received 42.8% of the votes in June’s primary, while former Dublin Mayor Melissa Hernandez secured 16.8%. Wahab aligns with progressive values, whereas Hernandez maintains a moderate stance.

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and another super PAC have invested in this race. AIPAC’s involvement in Democratic primaries has sparked debate this year. Polls are set to close at 11 p.m. EDT.
