The Clark County Education Association is working hard to enhance educational opportunities for students. Even unions known for advocating for members can promote policies that lead to better student outcomes if motivated by the right incentives.
Students in the Clark County School District have wrapped up the inaugural week of their academic year. At Western and Desert Pines high schools, as well as 16 associated feeder schools, changes might have been noticeable. These schools, which cater to approximately 17,000 students, are part of a new pilot program initiated by the district in collaboration with the Clark County Education Association.
