Costco Offers Disneyland Ticket Bundle with Dining and Extras
Disneyland visitors have a new ticket option available through Costco. This package includes park admission along with other benefits, but there are key restrictions to consider.
Costco’s offering is a two-day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper ticket coupled with a Lightning Lane Multi Pass and a $60 dining card, priced at $329.99. This deal is available at specific Costco locations in California.
Disneyland Resort officials confirmed the existence of this offer, noting that it began last week at certain Costco stores throughout the state. The resort is known for offering limited-time ticket deals via third-party vendors.
“Costco has a Disneyland deal right now that is actually worth talking about!”
This bundle has generated interest among theme park enthusiasts, who are comparing it to buying tickets straight from Disneyland. Currently, Disneyland’s site lists a two-day Park Hopper ticket at $445 for one adult, without Lightning Lane. Thus, the Costco package offers a saving of approximately $115, although each option has distinct terms and conditions.
Recently, Disneyland altered its ticket pricing. According to the Los Angeles Times, mid-tier single-day ticket prices rose by $5. However, the cheapest $104 ticket and the most expensive $224 ticket remain the same. Lightning Lane prices now can reach $38, and Park Hopper addons for single-day tickets increased by $5 to $10, depending on the date. Multi-day ticket prices stayed stable.
Hugh Johnston, CFO of The Walt Disney Company, addressed ticket pricing at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference in San Francisco. He emphasized the company’s focus on keeping prices accessible for younger families by offering lower rates during off-peak periods. Johnston stated, “It’s something we’re acutely sensitive to because we want to bring young families into the parks.”
The Costco tickets are valid from October 2 to December 18. After the first use, the second park day must occur within 13 days. Reservations are needed for each visit, and the ticket is nonrefundable. Both days must be used by the same person, preventing sharing between different visitors.
The package is exclusively available at select Costco locations in California. Online reactions have been mixed, with some individuals finding the price daunting while others appreciate the package’s value.
