These parties didn’t just involve the “Taxi” cast. Celebrities from other popular shows also joined, including members of “Laverne & Shirley.” DeVito recalled that stars like Robin Williams and Michael Jackson were among the attendees. While Jackson preferred to watch from the booth, other famous guests, such as John Belushi from “SNL,” were also present.
After filming wraps for the evening, the party would quickly start and continue until dawn. DeVito mentioned they had to return to work by Monday at noon, indicating their only constraint during their spirited celebrations.
