Fans of professional wrestling from the 1990s and early 2000s may remember Dawn Marie for her appearances with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and WWE. Recently, she announced a new venture, joining OnlyFans to offer fans a closer look at her current life.
Dawn Marie’s OnlyFans Venture
At 55, the New Jersey native, now a nurse, clarified in an interview that her OnlyFans content will be fun and flirty without any explicit material. “It’s going to be fun. It’s going to be flirty,” she said. “We’re not doing nudes, which I made clear. Just going to be Dawn Marie.”
Marie explained that wrestling had left her with several injuries. These past injuries have made her job as a nurse challenging. She sees her new online presence as a way to secure her children’s future. As a single mother, she’s motivated to provide for her children without them accruing college debt.
“I have a lot of residual issues also from being a nurse from wrestling. I choose not to be what I see on a daily basis – people my age in beds and never getting back up. It’s scary. And the only difference is it happened to them and not me,” she said.
Embracing Her Age
In addition to sharing her life online, Marie is returning to public appearances, which has motivated her to take better care of herself. She embraces her current self and appreciates the beauty of women at every age.
“I’m not trying to be the Dawn Marie of 20 years ago,” she expressed. “I’m trying to be the Dawn Marie that’s 55 and embracing it and enjoying being what I am and what I am now.” She emphasized that her move to OnlyFans is about future planning, not solely financial gain.
Wrestling Journey
Dawn Marie started her wrestling career in 1995 at an independent show in New Jersey. She eventually joined ECW and later WWE. After leaving WWE in 2005, she made appearances in other wrestling promotions. Her recent return to WWE in 2024 as a special guest referee at NXT Halloween Havoc marked a significant moment.
“The second I walked out that curtain and I had that moment. It was so profound,” she recounted. “It was weird. It was like, scary at first, but then it felt so peaceful.”
For wrestling fans, Dawn Marie offers a glimpse into her current life for a subscription fee, all while maintaining a fun and respectful environment.
