Democrat Jared Golden Endorses Republican Mike Lawler for Reelection

Rep. Jared Golden from Maine, a Democrat known for his willingness to break with party lines, announced his endorsement of Republican Rep. Mike Lawler for reelection. Golden, who has decided not to seek reelection himself, described Lawler as a valuable partner.

Golden’s endorsement of Lawler comes as the New York congressman faces a tight race. The announcement was made on Monday, and it highlights Golden’s continued independence from his party’s mainstream positions.

The partnership between Golden and Lawler has been publicly acknowledged, showcasing a bipartisan relationship in a political landscape often characterized by division.
