Eagles vs. Titans Game Marked by Unusual Heat

The Philadelphia Eagles’ narrow 24-20 victory against the Tennessee Titans was overshadowed by intense heat at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. This unusual weather condition created memorable scenes during the game.

Fans watched as the teams warmed up in the extreme heat on September 20, 2026. The artificial turf was so hot that it resembled a stovetop. To cope with the heat, players were seen spraying water on their cleats to offer some relief.

One offensive lineman dealt with the conditions by switching through several pairs of shoes during the match. Philadelphia Eagles Coach Nick Sirianni also felt the impact, requiring medical attention and an IV to manage the heat.
