First Lady Melania Trump has participated in significantly fewer public events compared to her schedule at the same point during President Donald Trump’s initial term. An analysis by NBC News highlights this change, noting the reduction to about half the previous number of appearances. A senior adviser explained that the First Lady focuses on achieving results rather than attending events.
Her absence from public appearances has been notable, with her last engagement recorded on July 19. This date marks nearly a month without any new public activity. Among the events she missed were the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham, the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, and the reception for the families of four U.S. service members on July 22.
