Hannah Hirsh, once a stripper for five years, left the sex industry after a spiritual transformation. She recounts her experience as “dark” and filled with addiction and trafficking. Speaking to Fox News Digital, she stressed the hidden dangers of the lifestyle, which often includes drugs and alcohol.
She warned women considering stripping as a quick way to earn money, explaining they may not understand the associated pitfalls. Hirsh described the feeling of emptiness and moral conflict in the pursuit of financial gain.
Her career stopped abruptly when the COVID-19 pandemic closed clubs in 2020. Hirsh used this period to reflect and awaken a deeper connection with her faith, distancing from the industry.
She realized society’s portrayal of stripping as glamorous is misleading. This realization prompted her to emphasize faith over material gain, declaring that true fulfillment comes from a spiritual connection.
This fast-paced lifestyle is glamorized, but it is not glamorous. True riches are found in God.
Hirsh observed that many women in the industry resort to daily drug use to cope with their reality. She highlighted the daily degradation and false empowerment associated with earning money quickly.
She now visits clubs to share her faith, providing support to women ready to leave. Hirsh founded “Kept by Grace Ministry,” an organization focused on this mission.
To those doubting the possibility of redemption for strippers, Hirsh reminded them that Jesus associated with those perceived as outcasts. She emphasized the potential for personal transformation and redemption through faith.
