James Carville Discusses Shift in Trump Support

Carville addressed a listener’s comment from rural Texas, observing fewer Trump signs and flags. He agreed with the listener’s insights, suggesting these might reflect reduced enthusiasm and lower turnout in upcoming midterms.
According to Carville, anecdotal evidence is valuable when consistent over time. He recounted experiences in south Mississippi, where interactions with Trump supporters have dwindled. Carville said these instances indicate a cultural shift.
Previously, Trump merchandise and flags were prominent in areas such as Highway 90. Carville observed a decline in such visibility, hinting at a change in political engagement.
