Jana Kramer, an actress and singer, shared insights with Fox News Digital about finding joy after heartbreak by leaving toxic relationships. She emphasized that this decision made her a ‘better person’ and renewed her appreciation for second chances, both personally and professionally.
Known for her public experiences with heartbreak and divorce, Kramer’s narrative aligns with her role in the Lifetime movie ‘Where the Heart Lands.’ She noted that leaving negative and unhealthy environments allowed her to become happier and lighter, and she encouraged others facing similar challenges to embrace fresh starts.
Kramer openly discussed her journey in moving on from her former relationship with ex-husband Mike Caussin, with whom she shares two children, Jolie and Jace. The pair divorced in 2021 following allegations of multiple infidelities.
Currently, Kramer is married to Allan Russell, a former professional soccer player, with whom she shares a son, Roman. Kramer believes her new life is a testament to the potential for joy after hardship.
The theme of starting anew is central in ‘Where the Heart Lands,’ which features Kramer as a character named Charlie, a determined horse trainer in Kentucky. The film, opposite Tyler Johnson, explores themes of love, loss, and starting over through unexpected challenges.
While working on the movie, Kramer gained unique experiences in Kentucky’s horse country, involving significant time with racehorses. She noted the connection she feels with horses and the therapeutic qualities they possess, affirming her love for horseback riding.
‘Where the Heart Lands,’ closing out Lifetime’s ‘Love of a Lifetime’ spring series, also features actors John Schneider and Charlene Tilton, among others. It is available for streaming on Lifetime.
