Bon Jovi had difficulties during his performance and ended the show early. Train’s frontman, Pat Monahan, supported him briefly before the show concluded. A Bon Jovi representative confirmed that a health setback led to the concert’s early end. Bon Jovi explained to fans it was due to battling a sinus infection.
During a residency at Madison Square Garden, Bon Jovi often expressed joy in returning to live performances. Updated information regarding future shows will be shared soon.
An insider reported that Bon Jovi performed for around 90 minutes. Usually, his MSG residency shows last over two hours with about 19 songs, but the July 23 concert ended after 15 songs.
Monahan, attending as a fan, was not part of the scheduled lineup. He joined Bon Jovi for “Livin’ on a Prayer,” taking over vocals midway through. The July 23 concert was the eighth in his nine-show residency.
