Land Swap Proposed for Yosemite Resort Access

A proposed land swap in Yosemite National Park aims to create a driveway linking a new resort to the national park road. This project involves trading an acre of federal land for another parcel. The developer, Jeff Pori, shared details of the venture in an interview.

The resort plans to include a lodge and rental cabins, enhancing visitor access to this iconic destination. The exchange seeks to integrate the resort more seamlessly with the existing park infrastructure. This development effort highlights a growing interest in expanding amenities near national parks to accommodate increasing numbers of tourists.
