Chris Swanson’s Role

Chris Swanson gained widespread attention during the summer of 2020 when nationwide protests erupted after George Floyd’s death. Swanson kept the peace by removing his body armor and marching with protestors in Flint, Michigan.

Four years later, Swanson addressed the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago as an avid supporter of Biden and Kamala Harris. Harris took over as the party’s presidential nominee after Biden withdrew following a poor debate performance against Trump.
