Omos Triumphs Over Rey Mysterio at Triplemania 34 Night 1

Omos entered Triplemania 34 Night 1 with confidence. Facing Rey Mysterio, he not only held a height advantage but also a chance to get reinstated into the AAA roster.

During the match, Omos dominated, earning a victory despite Mysterio’s impressive comeback. Mysterio executed multiple 619s, a West Coast Pop, and a top-rope splash. However, Omos prevailed with several bearhugs and a decisive chokeslam, securing the pin.

Omos didn’t stop there. Post-match, he continued to attack Mysterio, exacerbating the damage even as officials prepared to stretcher him off. The scene intensified when Omos returned to the ring, lifting Mysterio from the backboard and slamming him through the announcer table.

The audience at MGM Grand Garden Arena voiced their disapproval of both Omos and Dominik Mysterio as the two departed backstage. This marked a difficult moment for Rey Mysterio and El Grande Americano.

As the event continues, Dominik Mysterio is set to defend his AAA Mega Championship against El Grande Americano during Night 2 of Triplemania 34. This match will occur at Arena CDMX in Mexico City on Sunday night.

The next segment begins at 10 p.m. ET and will be available for viewing on YouTube.
