President Trump Rebrands Department of Defense

President Donald Trump expressed dissatisfaction over the United States’ recent military engagements, claiming the country no longer wins wars. He attributed this issue to what he called ‘wokeness’ and ‘political correctness.’

In response, Trump took steps to address his concerns by rebranding the Department of Defense as the Department of War. This decision aimed to shift the focus towards a more aggressive military posture.

Pete Hegseth, who serves as Trump’s secretary, supported this rebranding effort. He argued that the newly named Department of War would emphasize ‘fighting to win’ and conducting warfare with ‘maximum lethality’ as opposed to what he termed ‘tepid legality.’
