Reflections on Art and Power

The National Museum of African American History and Culture celebrates a decade since its establishment with the ‘Revelation’ exhibition, spotlighting talented artists known for their critical examination of authority. This display features creations from 38 painters, photographers, and sculptors.

Since its launch in 2016, the museum has added depth to the National Mall, offering comprehensive exhibits that span Black history in America from its inception to the modern era. This museum quickly became essential to the Smithsonian Institution, serving as a cornerstone for cultural representation.
