Riley Green’s Successful Elk Hunt in Utah Mountains

Riley Green recently exchanged the concert stage for the Utah wilderness, embarking on an exhilarating elk hunting trip. Green, known for his passion for bow hunting, successfully harvested a magnificent bull elk with a compound bow. He shared this accomplishment on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the challenge and the opportunity to pursue the elk in the Utah mountains.

His Instagram post celebrated a full freezer, a testament to the amount of game he managed to secure. The photos he shared displayed the impressive size of the mature bull, featuring a noteworthy antler rack. The images also captured the daunting process of transporting all the meat from the mountains, a significant task.

Green’s enthusiasm for hunting, especially with a bow, is well-documented. He frequently guest hosts “Major League Bowhunter,” where his adventure hunting elk in Montana was highlighted in an episode titled “3rd Times A Charm.” Despite his busy touring schedule, he manages to find time for this sport, though fitting an elk hunt around travel can be challenging.

His appearance on “Bussin’ With The Boys” revealed some of his struggles with timing the short elk hunting season while drawing elk tags in consecutive years. The intricacies of bowhunting demand a closer approach to the elk compared to rifle hunting, a challenge Green embraces.

Interestingly, the country music scene seems to be enjoying a fruitful elk hunting season. Fellow country star Luke Combs also recently filled his freezer with elk meat after a successful hunt in Utah. While Combs initially aimed to take his elk with a bow, he switched to a rifle during his trip. Despite different methods, both artists share a deep appreciation for hunting.

Riley Green’s pursuit demonstrates his skill and dedication to the sport, offering his fans a glimpse into his life beyond music. Those interested in hunting and outdoor adventures can follow OutKick OutDoors on social media platforms for more updates.
