Now, in the WNBA, Clark plays for the Indiana Fever, who hold a 22-12 record. Reese is with the Atlanta Dream, sporting a 21-12 record. Both teams are set to face off at State Farm Arena, but Clark’s participation is uncertain due to an injury. She exited the court during the Fever’s recent 98-87 victory over the Dallas Wings.

Against Atlanta, she has maintained a 23.0 point average on 48.1% shooting across past encounters.
Reese performs commendably, achieving 16.7 points on 51.4% shooting and 9.7 rebounds in past games against Clark this season. The Dream lead against the Fever, recording a 2-1 triumph in their matchups and winning the last two games.
Atlanta Dream’s advantage lies in areas like rebounding, turnover management, and free throws—key factors for success. These aspects, alongside playing at home, favor them against Indiana. Notably, the Dream score eight more points per home game and excel at perimeter shooting.
The recent 104-69 win over the Connecticut Sun provided the Dream a rest advantage, especially against the Fever, who played a game on the following day. This rest edge contributed to their previous victory over Indiana where Clark scored 26 points.
“If Clark can’t play, it disappoints fans, though it strengthens Atlanta’s betting appeal. Even if she plays, the Dream could still cover the spread,” noted a sports analyst.
Atlanta’s physical gameplay, along with their rebounding and scoring in the paint, could lead to a home victory. Their ‘battle of possessions’ strategy bolsters their chances of winning.
