Search for Missing Children Abducted by Father in California

Authorities in California are actively searching for two 9-year-old children, Solomon and Marozhina Sukonick, who were reportedly abducted by their father, David Sukonick. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has requested public assistance to locate the children, expressing concern for their safety.

The children were last seen around 8 p.m. on Thursday near the 1000 block of West Avenue J-8 in Lancaster. According to the sheriff’s department, they were traveling in a black 2011 Lincoln Town Car with the California license plate number SOLOYST.

Marozhina Sukonick is described as a white girl, 4 feet 4 inches tall, and weighing about 90 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing pink shorts and a white shirt. Her brother, Solomon, is a white boy of the same height and weight, with brown hair and brown eyes as well. He was wearing blue shorts and an unknown-colored shirt.

Their father, David Sukonick, is a 71-year-old white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 135 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. The authorities have expressed a serious concern for the well-being of the children.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department urges anyone with information about the children’s whereabouts to contact them at 661-940-3855.

According to a report from the New York Post, David Sukonick posted a photo of the children on Facebook on July 13. A commenter questioned their well-being, noting that they looked “miserable.” This post adds to the concern about the children’s current condition.
