Search Ongoing for Missing Man in Adirondack Mountains
A 73-year-old man named Craig K. Streeter from Mahopac has been missing for over three weeks. His situation came to light when state troopers in New York discovered his abandoned RV in the remote Adirondack Mountains.
Last Known Movements
Streeter was last seen on August 2 at a Stewart’s Shop located in Indian Lake. Although it was common for him to be unreachable occasionally, he has not been heard from in several weeks, prompting concern.
Authorities are actively searching for Streeter after discovering his RV at a secluded campsite without signs of recent use.
Search Efforts
The search for Streeter began when New York State Forest Rangers found his RV at campsite 36 on Moose River Road in Inlet Town. With no evident recent activity, additional law enforcement agencies joined the search to locate the avid outdoorsman.
Currently, multiple agencies are involved in the ongoing search. According to the New York State Police, there are no signs of foul play at this time.
Details and Appeal for Information
At the time of his disappearance, Streeter was wearing a dark-colored long-sleeved shirt and jeans. Authorities are appealing to the public for any information regarding encounters with Streeter around Moose River Road or nearby camping areas.
