Shaquille O’Neal Clarifies Comments on Knicks’ Championship Run

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal clarified his comments on the New York Knicks’ recent championship victory. When asked about his statement regarding the Knicks’ luck, Shaq explained, “That’s not what I said. I hate people like you who don’t listen. I said, ‘Luck was involved.’ What if OG Anunoby hadn’t gotten the tip? What if De’Aaron Fox held back the ball? That’s luck.”

Shaq emphasized that luck plays a part in winning championships. He referenced his own career, stating, “Everybody needs luck to win the championship. I started off by saying two of my championships were lucky.” He challenged Knicks fans with, “Run it back,” signaling the need for a repeat performance next season.
