The U.S. State Department has announced a reward of $15 million for any information related to four Chinese nationals. These individuals, identified as Liu Baoxia, Li Yongxin, Yung Yiu Wa, and Zhong Yanlai, are accused of assisting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in procuring U.S. military equipment and drone technology.
A State Department statement highlights that these suspects facilitated transactions involving U.S. goods through front companies in China. These companies reportedly sent the technology to Iran. From there, the IRGC and associated firms, including Shiraz Electronics Industries and Rayan Roshd Afzar, used the technology to create unmanned aerial vehicles, weaponry, and arms systems.
The products developed were allegedly sold to governments and organizations in countries like Russia, Sudan, and Yemen, contravening U.S. sanctions. The State Department urges anyone with relevant information about these illegal activities to report through an anonymous Tor Browser portal, offering monetary rewards for tips.
