Three Injured in Drive-By Shooting on Chicago’s Southwest Side

On Tuesday night, a drive-by shooting wounded three men in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side of Chicago, according to the police. The incident occurred shortly before 8:45 p.m.
The victims were standing outside in the 2400 block of South Washtenaw Avenue when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire and then fled the scene.
A 27-year-old man was shot in the head and rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he remains in serious condition. A 21-year-old man, also shot in the head, is in serious condition at Stroger Hospital.
The third victim, a 22-year-old man, was shot in the leg and is in good condition at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Police are investigating the case, with detectives working to gather more information and identify the suspects involved in this violent episode.
