Tragic Death of Kenan Urker, Partner of Gypsy Rose Blanchard

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the death of Kenan “Ken” Urker, the partner of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who was found in his Louisiana home following a welfare check. Loved ones had expressed concern, leading to the discovery of his body.

Anita Blanchard, Gypsy Rose’s half-brother’s wife, noticed Urker unconscious through a window. A companion accessed the home, confirming Urker was unresponsive. Investigators located syringes, a spoon with a brown substance, a handgun, and other items nearby.

Witnesses mentioned Urker attended church the night prior, showing signs of depression. He also participated in a TikTok livestream, though he did not speak. Despite no evidence of foul play, the investigation continues.

Urker’s demise coincided with his 34th birthday. The sheriff’s office stated updates would follow any new developments.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, serving time for her mother’s murder, had been released and reconnected with Urker. The couple, previously engaged, had a daughter, Aurora, born in December 2024. Blanchard suggested a drug overdose as the cause of Urker’s death, highlighting his difficulties with online harassment.

On social media, Blanchard shared tributes and highlighted Urker’s challenges with cyberbullying. She vowed to ensure their daughter knows her father’s love and character beyond public perception.
