Twin Falls In-N-Out Shooting Unfolds with Tragic Consequences

A tragic shooting occurred at a newly opened In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho, on Saturday. The authorities have identified the suspect as Chad Williams, 24, who was subdued by an off-duty state trooper and an armed citizen who returned fire during the incident.

Williams died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after taking the lives of an employee and a customer. According to Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks, the attacker acted alone and was found deceased near the restaurant.

“We want to take a moment and commend the actions of the off-duty officer and the citizen and their heroic action to stop this incident,” Hicks stated during a news conference on Sunday. “We believe their actions helped drive the suspect away from the scene, preventing further casualties.”

The event, partially captured in a video by a witness, left three people dead and seven others injured. City spokesperson Josh Palmer reported that two of the injured have since been discharged from the hospital. Another three victims are in stable condition, while two remain in critical condition.
