Attempting to sort this out, we visited a Verizon store. The visit proved challenging. A quoted number saw our “Services & Perks” rise by $70. The sales agent assured us the monthly bill wouldn’t increase much, yet failed to specify the benefits.
We left, unimpressed. At home, I called Verizon customer service. Richard answered, spending 90 minutes without producing proof of our charges dropping to $45 per phone. He did, however, find that we were double-billed for Netflix and offered a small temporary discount on the Apple Watch.
Jana, another representative, delivered results in 25 minutes. The deal was arranged, the document reached my inbox, and the sale finalized.
Insurance and Charges
Verizon’s $68 monthly charge for phone insurance appears to be a questionable deal. Google Gemini claims the plan offers customer service support, but it seems excessive.
The conclusion of multiple frustrating Verizon store visits led to a firm decision not to return unless absolutely needed.
