Washington Commanders General Manager Adam Peters and Coach Dan Quinn spoke to the media following recent roster adjustments. The team cut its squad to 53 players and made several other decisions.
“I have a ton of confidence in this team and a ton of confidence in the coaching staff,” said Adam Peters.
Typically, NFL franchises exhibit high optimism during training camp. For the Washington Commanders, however, a sense of negativity overshadowed their preparations. A series of injuries transformed multiple positions on the roster into significant concerns.
Adding to these challenges, the Baltimore Ravens significantly outperformed the Commanders in both a joint practice and a preseason game. As the Commanders transition into the regular season, they face considerable skepticism.
