Trump Shares Videos of Big Cats Attacking People

President Donald Trump shared two videos on Truth Social showing big cats attacking people. The first video appeared to depict a recent deadly tiger incident in northern England at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. In the 41-second clip, the tiger assaults the victim, identified as William Chapman, but does not show the fatal moment. Trump’s caption read, ‘Don’t ever mess with nature! President DJT.’

Shortly after, Trump posted another 24-second video compilation of various big cat attacks, set to music. This second post was not captioned. The authenticity of the footage, whether real or AI-generated, was not immediately verified.

The White House’s Rapid Response X account also shared these posts. When Newsweek asked for comment, the White House directed them to the Truth Social posts. In previous instances, Trump has shared unconventional videos and AI-generated images online.

The posts received mixed reactions, sparking confusion and criticism on social media. Former federal prosecutor Ron Filipkowski speculated on X about whether the account was hacked or if a message was being intentionally sent. Vanity Fair correspondent Aiden McLaughlin criticized the posts as lion snuff films. Lawyer Aaron Parnas called the behavior bizarre and concerning.

Still, some Trump supporters viewed the posts as a warning about respecting nature’s power. Ryan Fournier, founder of Students for Trump, expressed this perspective on X, emphasizing a clear message about the consequences of challenging wild animals.
