President Trump addressed reporters as he was preparing to board Marine One on the South Lawn of the White House on October 13, 2026. His administration has filed 42 emergency pleas to the Supreme Court since taking office again. This count surpasses the total from his first term.
Recently, the Justice Department asked the justices to overturn a ruling favoring Democrats concerning TV advertising rates ahead of the midterms. This case and another regarding transgender inmates are still pending. Of the initial filings, four were withdrawn.
The Supreme Court has reached a decision on 36 of these cases. Trump secured victories in 28, with eight losses. This results in nearly an 80 percent success rate, according to analysis from The Gavel.
